Patronage is the support, encouragement, privilege and often financial aid that an organization or individual bestows to the artists community. In the history of art, arts patronage refers to the support that cultured and open minded people have provided to musicians, painters, sculptors and artists in general. Their support made the difference and brought to light a significant part of our artistic heritage. On our days the relationships between artists and art appreciators became quite diverse and fluid. So does the act of patronage. Nowadays the boundless avenue of network relations has brought art to an unprecedented level of democracy. This liberty has provided new forms of art patronage, reshaping an old act of generosity. Following this stream we launch a new concept: the e-Patronage. The iArtee e-Patronage brings the arts patronage to an easy, democratic and affordable level so that anyone can be a Patron. Using all the capabilities of network interactions, iArtee comes as a valuable venue where artists can show their artworks, profiles and projects to people like you and me: Patrons or potential Patrons. Be welcome, look around and enjoy this new experience!
